The strongest painting warranty in Austin.
Most painting companies offer a 2-3 year warranty. Some don’t offer one at all. That’s because they’re not confident their work will last. At Brush & Color, we offer a 9-year interior warranty and 5-year exterior warranty because we’re that confident in our prep, materials, and execution.
A warranty isn’t marketing—it’s a promise. It means we’re willing to stake our reputation and our business on the durability of our work. When you paint with Brush & Color, you’re not just getting a paint job. You’re getting a guarantee that lasts nearly a decade.
Our 9-year interior warranty covers all interior painting work, including walls, ceilings, trim, doors, cabinets, and specialty finishes. It covers:
What’s Covered:
If applied color doesn't match the agreed-upon sample or selection, we repaint.
If paint peels, flakes, or separates from the substrate, we repaint it at no cost.
If paint fails to adhere properly to walls, trim, or other surfaces, we address it.
If coverage is uneven or incomplete despite proper application, we fix it.
Any defect resulting from our application process or technique is covered.
What’s NOT Covered:
Scuffs, marks, and minor scratches from living in your home (covered by free touch-ups instead).
Damage from impact, neglect, or abuse of the painted surfaces.
Damage from extreme weather, flooding, or environmental factors outside normal conditions.
Normal expansion and contraction isn't a warranty issue.
If you remove or modify painted surfaces (like removing walls or replacing trim).
Our 5-year exterior warranty covers all exterior painting work, including siding, stucco, brick, trim, soffits, and fascia. Austin’s heat, humidity, and UV are brutal on paint. Our 5-year warranty reflects realistic durability in Texas climate while backing our professional work completely.
What’s Covered:
If exterior paint peels, blisters, or flakes, we repaint it.
If paint fades excessively due to workmanship issues (not normal UV aging), we repaint.
If paint fails to adhere to the substrate, we address it.
If coverage is uneven or incomplete, we fix it.
If moisture issues result from improper prep or caulking on our part, we remediate.
What’s NOT Covered:
Paint naturally fades and weathers over time in outdoor conditions.
Hail, extreme winds, or unusual weather events.
If you don't maintain your home's exterior (gutters, downspouts, drainage), warranty coverage is reduced.
If the underlying surface (wood rot, structural changes) changes after painting.
Mildew, algae growth, or other environmental factors beyond paint durability.
If you notice a potential warranty issue—peeling paint, poor coverage, color mismatch—call us right away at (737) 409-0831. Don’t wait. The sooner we know, the sooner we can address it.
Nick or a team member will visit your home to inspect the issue and determine if it’s covered under warranty. We’re not looking for reasons to deny coverage—we’re looking to solve the problem.
If it’s covered, we fix it. We repaint, touch up, or address whatever the issue is at no cost to you. No arguments, no hassles, no fine print.
We check back to make sure the repair is holding and you’re satisfied. Your satisfaction is the point.
Beyond our warranty, every Brush & Color project includes free touch-ups for the first year. That means:
This is how we show we stand behind our work. A fresh paint job deserves to stay looking fresh, and we’re committed to that.
Some painters throw out warranty numbers without backing them up. At Brush & Color, our warranty is owner-backed. That means:
You don't deal with a third-party warranty company. You work directly with Nick. If there's an issue, you reach out to him, and he personally ensures it's resolved.
Our warranty terms are straightforward. We don't bury conditions in legal language. If it's a workmanship issue, we cover it. Simple.
We don't deny claims or argue technicalities. If something goes wrong with our work, we fix it. That's the commitment.
We've been offering this warranty since we started in 2017. We've honored it consistently. It's not a marketing gimmick—it's how we do business.
Our warranty isn’t an add-on. It’s not an upsell. It’s standard on every Brush & Color project. When we quote your interior painting at $1,500–$3,500 per room, that price includes:
You’re not paying extra for the warranty. You’re paying for quality work, and the warranty proves we stand behind it.
Warranty Period: 9 years for interior work, 5 years for exterior work, calculated from the completion date of your project.
Coverage: Covers workmanship defects and adhesion failures as outlined above.
Exclusions: Does not cover normal wear and tear, user-caused damage, environmental damage, or modifications to your home.
How to Claim: Contact Brush & Color within 30 days of noticing the issue. We’ll assess and remediate if covered.
Remedy: Our responsibility is to repaint affected areas at no cost. We don’t provide compensation for other damages or inconveniences.
Transferable: If you sell your home, the warranty transfers to the new owner (with documentation).
Our warranty is the strongest in Austin because we back it personally and we’re confident in our work.
Our warranty should make sense. If you have questions about coverage, conditions, or how to file a claim, ask us. Call (737) 409-0831 or email us. We’ll explain everything clearly—no legal jargon, no runaround.
A 9-year interior warranty. A 5-year exterior warranty. Free annual touch-ups. Owner-backed accountability. That’s what separates Brush & Color from everyone else. Your home is too important to trust to a painter without a real guarantee.
